They refused to give me advice over the phone when I was sick.they made me come in when I could have spoke to a nurse.don't go to this hospital if u want to live.
For a small town hospital clinic and hospital there are quite a few services. There are issues as there are in any hosital or clinic, larger or small. I just feel fortunate that we have access to health care close to home. It may take a couple of attempts to find the right health care provider for you, but that is everywhere. We are lucky to have some fantastic specialists willing to make the commute a couple times a month to service our area. It is easy to criticise so I wanted to say thank you.
This place is ok for office visits and the hospital. My complaint is their stupid policy for paperwork. If I need FMLA papers filled out for my job I need to have an appointment. They refuse to fill it out without an appointment. I think its just a way for them to get more money from people and have people waste their time and gas to come here for 2 minutes of writing and faxing. I have NEVER had this problem with otherplaces. Maybe they should pay for people's gas for making this process such a waste for people!
I have to give it a poor rating because of what happened when my father died there. The EMT who was doing CPR on him miscounted and it made her laugh. Yes that's right- she laughed out loud while preforming CPR on my dying father, while my siblings and I were right there. It made a horrible day even worse and I will never forgive her or forget that moment. The management ignored our complaints about the incident and she was never penalized. Actually the woman I spoke to was more interested in questioning why my family would have wanted to be in the room during his attempted resuscitation, than she was about the EMTs laughter. It was disgusting and I will never forget it.
